Sweet Corn – True Gold

1909 Zea mays

80 days.
Forget the syrupy-sweet modern hybrids and try this old-fashioned corn instead, that is delicious and crunchy, with amazing buttery flavour.
True Gold grows to 6′ and produces 2-3 ears that are 8-9″ long and filled with round, golden-yellow kernels.
It resists stalk-lodging and is less likely to bend in windy areas.
