The Minnesota Midget was a hit at the Falls Brook Centre Fair in 2010 when over 50 visitors instantly became seed savers and melon connoisseurs. They scooped the seeds and goop out of the middles and graciously “disposed of the waste product” by scarfing down the sugary flesh. The size of a grape-fruit, the Minnesota Midget ripens quickly on 3′ vines with a thick orange flesh and thin, netted rind.
