Bean – Bush – Dragon Langerie/Dragon’s Tongue

1012 Phaseolus vulgaris

55 days for snap beans.
Heirloom bean from the Netherlands, cultivated since the 18th century. From there it spread to France and England, then eventually to the New World.
Compact plants grow to 18–24″. Flat, stringless yellow pods overlaid with striking purple streaks have a buttery flavour that stands out. A sure crowd-pleaser.
