Now common in North American gardens, Bachelor’s Buttons hail from the UK, where they were considered weeds in grain (corn) fields. Folklore tells us the name “bachelor’s Buttons” comes from young men pinning them on their jackets as a symbol of their love. If the flowers faded too quickly, it was taken as a sign that their love was not returned.
Brilliant mix of pink, purple, blue, and white flowers on 16″-30″ stems. Dries well and lasts long as cut flowers.
Great for attracting beneficial insects to the garden.
Drought-tolerant.
